In the 1910 census, "Cathelene" was 6 years old, could not speak English, not able to read or write, and did not attend school.  She lived with her parents and 5 siblings at 42 Lehigh Street, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.

In the 1920 census, "Kathryn" was 16 years old and could not read nor write or speak.  She lived with her parents at 42 Lehigh Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

In the 1930 census, "Katherine" was 25 years old and able to read and write (??).  She was not working and living with her parents at 42 Lehigh Street, Pennsylvania.

She moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania after her mother died in 1952.  She played the Victrola and found it to be great fun. She knew her music records.

In 1958, she lived with a niece at 411 Horton St., Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Catherine Walter died in 1980 in Valley Crest Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
