In the 1930 census, Gertrude was 42 years old and born in Pennsylvania.  Her father was born in Germany and mother in New York.  She married at age 21 years. She lived with her husband and 2 sons at 387 West Main Street, Plymouth Borough, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.

Date of death is unknown.  She was buried in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Darling St., Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
